Following two decades of experimentation on labels like ~scape, Staubgold, Kranky, and Senufo Editions, among others, Andrew Pekler offers another fantastic new release. To wit, another fantastic release from label and artist alike, both as part of an on-going series, two to be specific.

Split between longer immersive compositions and shorter glimpse-like sketches, these 12 tracks feature new juxtapositions of Pekler's familiar palette of synthetic field recordings, warm, undulating electronic textures, shifting percussion patterns and serene melodies. As with much of his recent work, Pekler's compositions here are structured around the beguiling effect of synthetic and non-synthetic sounds mirroring, mimicking and modulating one another […]
