Trying to come up with something clever referencing Lévi-Strauss in relation to Oren Ambarchi’s latest, Cooked! But with the accomplished and deep ensemble gathered here, many featured in the Black Truffle catalog but a few from beyond, this Lp feels very, how to say, mature and developed. Totally cooked.
Nothing raw to be had with what these now familiar names and shop favorites bring by way of instrumentation and musicianship. Adjacent to the Ghosted releases. Via Drag City.
